Main track and siding along the east edge of Union.

IARR corridor as it departs Liscomb northwesterly.  The trail enters the Iowa
River Valley and crosses the river a few miles north of Liscomb.

Cut between Eldora and Steamboat Rock.  Spectacular views of the Iowa River valley will be possible from this stretch of trail.

Trail corridor south of Eldora as it curves southeast toward Gifford.  Gifford was once a significant railroad junction town where the line intersected with the Tama-Jewell division of the Chicago Northwestern Railroad.

The future trail will cut right through the heart of Eldora, just west of the downtown area and historic Hardin County Courthouse.  Future trail users will find many amenities in Eldora.

Corridor as it departs Eldora to the north.

The corridor just south of Steamboat Rock.  This stretch of the trail traverses through some beautifully wooded areas of the Iowa River Valley.
